Tapawarma started during the couple’s downfall last December 2017 in Las Pinas.
This couple were just ordinary employees year 2009. He was a fatherless guy from the province of Koronadal City who flew to Manila, trying to look for greener future, to help his mother and siblings. He started as a janitor, working student in Alabang when he met his wife, who was a Manager in a BPO Company in Taguig. Because of her influence, he tried entering the BPO industry, promoted to be a Manager. Soon they got married. After a year, she bore their first daughter. It was the start of their first business, online trading. Few years after they grew to an IT company, then started Senyor Juan Suman Latik.
The brand became successful, opened 50 branches within Luzon for 2 years. They were even featured so many times in ABS-CBN, GMA 7, Net25 and other magazines and radio stations.
Until unexpected events came in, the brand was affected. But it didn’t stop the couple from fighting for their employee, franchisee and supplier’s sake. Instead they opened their first branch of Tapawarma out of used carts, and equipments.
Both couple handled the first branch and were hands-on in operating the branch, to study, create the operations manual, and have a system inside, before they passed it on to their managers for continuation. Now the brand has more than 50 branches in less than two years, aiming to hit 500 branches in 5 years. It is the heart of the couple, especially Chef Senyor Juan himself to pass on that knowledge and help aspiring Filipinos who wants to start their own business without risking too much of their money, time and effort by creating proven Franchising Food Business System with the help of Technology and Strong Marketing, and Francorp Philippines, an International Franchising Organization that handles Big Brands worldwide.
